If i had to blame someone or something for the outcast's deaths i would blame the citizens of Poker flat because they are the ones that told them to leave because the two girls were prostitutes and the drunk and i think that is not fair because in their own little ways everyone is equal. I think it really does not matter about what you are or what you do in life you are still a human being.

"The Story of an Hour"

The story of an hour is a story about a woman that is married to a man that probably mistreats her and he hold her down to what she wants to do. She cannot do things she wants to do just because he wouldn't let her.In the story the woman finds out that her husband is dead thats what her sister told her she was shocked and her sister tought that she was going to burst out crying she later went into her house and locked herself in there she was so happy and cheerful to know that her husband was dead and later her sister went to visit her, she did not want to open the door and her sister kept begging.When she finally open the door her sister asked her are you okay she said she was and that she was so happy because she was finally free to do anything she wanted.After a while there was a knock on the door and it was her husband she was so shocked that she dropped DEAD.

"The Blind Man"

This story was about a man who was blind.He did not use a walking stick,and he had to work for a living he sold pencils.In the summer he knocks on peoples doors and asks them if they would like to buy any pencils they would say no or either some of them wouldn't even be at their house because they went on a vacation or they just ignored him. Everytime he wanted to open a gate or ring the bell it took him a lot of time in order for him to those things, even though he would be walking and the sun was extremely hot people would just look at him and not even cross him to the other side of the street. Kids even want to steel pencils from him, He once went to a rich guy's house and he wanted to sell some pencils to him he told him to get out of his property and go sell them to someone else.Later as he was about to cross the street there were some big trucks a rich guy crossed the street without even looking to both sides of the street to see if any cars were coming, he was late to go see his family because they were going to go to their summer house somewhere & he got ranned on by the cars and died.The blind man didn't even notice that had happened he just heard people talking and "doctor".

"Desiree's Baby"

Desiree's baby is mainly a story about racism it talks about how people that are white are the one's that boss the black ones around & the black are the slaves and servants of the white people.Its about a woman that is married and she has a child and then the start fighting only because the baby looks kind of black and the husband thinks that the woman is black then the wife leaves and when she does the husband starts burning all the things that the wife and the baby touched,SUDDENLY he found a letter were it said that his mother was black and his father was white!

"Dr.Heidegger's Experiment"

As I was talking to my friends i asked them if they believed that a rose that was about 50 years old could ever blossom again and they all say non sense. I showed them the rose and dropped it in the water.All of a sudden what i see was that it blossomed and started to change again. I then asked some of my friends if they wanted to help me with an experiment where all of them would have the chance to be young again and be able to change some of the mistakes that they all made. They all agreed with me and say yes, but i told them that i wasen't going to be a part of it though. When they drank the water they did get younger and i noticed that everytime they looked in the mirror they saw themselves as young,but when i saw them in the mirror they where old as they normally are.After a little while i noticed that they began getting old again and that the water that made them young would only last a while.

As Armand stood there with nothing to say just many things running through his mind, he did not know how to react to what he just read after treating his wife in such a bad way and not even wanting to talk to her because all this time he had thought that she was the one that was black,when he was the one that is black his wife is really white.

As he read the letter he did not know what to do weither he should send a letter to where his wife's mother lived and tell his wife or to just keep it a secret and forget about it.

Flowers for Algernon

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you much smarter, would you do it, especially if you knew the effects of the surgery would only be temporary? Why or why not?Use examples from the story.

If i were given the chance to have an operation in order to make me smarter i would and wouldn't have it done on me for many reasons.I would have the operation because in that way i will atleast have the chance to get to see what being smart is like, and if people treated me different if i got smart.I wouldn't do it because if i knew the operation would make me smarter was going to be temporary, and as the time passes i would lose everything that i once knew and for then for me to die. Also in the story there are some side effects in Algernon and he slowly began to get dumb and forget everything that he once got the chance to know and then algernon died.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapters 3-7

After, reading Chapters 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter & give your solutions for each.

I think that one problem that he is going to encounter is getting younger and forgetting everything he ever knew.This problem might be solved by someone taking care of him.

The second problem can be that Benjamin is soon not going to fit in his clothes because he keeps getting smaller. This problem can be solved by buying new clothes.

The third problem is that Benjamin will soon stop liking his wife. This problem can be solved by getting a divorce.

Roger is so overly concerned with how Benjamin looks & is worried about what people are going to say. What should he do?

I think that Roger should just accept his son the way he is, the fact that he is different does not mean he does not have feelings,and his son has his blood flowing through his veins so why reject him when beauty is not always on the outside when the true meaning of beauty is on the inside and about what you feel.

What would you have done if you were Roger Button in Chapter 1?

What I would've done if I were Roger Button in Chapter 1 is that I would've been really shocked to see my baby being born at seventy years old..thats something that never happens, every baby is a newborn not even a month old.Also i would've just accepted the fact that, thats how the baby was born & that there was nothing that i could do in order to change it.
